Looking for a cure to the Philly winter blues? The Yetis have just what you need to warm up with their modern take on 60’s surf-pop. Instead of the kind of wintry tunes you’d expect from a band named after the Abominable Snowman, these childhood best friends play infectious tunes served best at beach parties. (They get that it’s ironic.) Both of their latest tracks, which were released last September, were produced by Fancy Time Studio’s Kyle “Slick” Johnson. After this weekend, the Allentown boys will be taking time to record new material so this is going to be their last show for a while, and could be the only show where you can swing some baseball bats in between sets. Plus, there will Philly newcomers Locals, who are headlining the show, and Bucks County indie rockers Commonwealth Choir are all geared up and ready to hit some balls and have an eating competition or two.
