Weekend Warrior, April 29 – May 1

We look forward to presenting tomorrow night’s fine lineup for the Rock to the Future Benefit at Danger Danger Gallery. In just a short amount of time, the many musicians behind this organization have worked hard to offer free after school music education to young students during a time where it’s truly needed. So the usual rager and explosion of bands will be extra special because it’s all for a good cause. It will feature the indie gyspy rock of Conversations with Enemies whose Jessica McKay (please check out our recent interview with her HERE), Josh Craft, and Monika Julien have all played an important part in helping the organization thrive. Headlining will be Algernon Cadwallader, who just came off a mini-tour with Band Name and released their first bootleg. The mood is also sure to get ethereal and majestic once Power Animal bring their experimental xylophone melodica, and Frances Quinlan and the rest of Hop Along perform their transcendental indie folk. We hope that you come out and show your support of the arts and the future of your local community! (And yes, we’ll still have plenty of energy after spending the day at the PIFA Street Fair.)
