Avant-jazz fusion trio Sons of Ra are preparing to release their latest EP, “Tropic of Cancer“, on April 19th. The trio of drummer Michael Rataj (Arbogast, Mine Collapse), tenor saxophonist/bassist Keith Wakefield (Jan King & Medicine Ball) and guitarist Erik Oldman (Mare Crisium) recently released visuals for the first single, “Tropic Of Cancer Part III”, from the EP.
The trio will be hosting an EP listening party on March 6th at Cobra Lounge. They will also be performing at Reggie’s on March 17th with Lower Automation and Life of Yum Yum.
