Paul Cherry recently released the third single, “Waverunner“, from his forthcoming album, Pure Grooves Vol. 1, which is due out on September 15th via Born Losers Records.
This is an instrumental, smooth jazz, project that found Cherry enlisting the help of Joseph Faught (bass), Noah Barker (keys/synth), Nelson Devereaux (saxophone/flute), Roy Arsenault (drums/percussion), and Adam Paulsen (guitar). It captures that hazy, lazy, end of summer vibe and balances of the edge of cheesy and genuine perfectly.
