Noname is back with her third full-length album, Sundial, and the follow-up to 2018’s Room 25. On this project she is joined by several heavy hitters including Common, Billy Woods, Jay Electronica, Ayoni, Eryn Allen Kane and more along with production from the likes of longtime collaborator Saba, Gaetan Judd, and Yussef Dayes.
On August 17th, from 3pm – 8pm, she will host the Sundial Block Party (4130 S. Lake Park Ave) in Chicago in partnership with Noname Book Club. Admission is free, but a book donation is suggested specifically requesting Blood in my Eye, SULA, or work from other black authors that will go to the club’s incarcerated members. The event will showcase performances by Noname, Navy Blue, Alex Vaughn, and surprise guests, with DJ sets from DJ greenSLLIME and Finding Ijeoma, along with refreshments and activities for kids.
