Lillie West of Lala Lala has released a solo atmospheric ambient album called “if i were a real man i would be able to break the neck of a suffering bird” via the Seattle label Hardly Art. This is a huge and beautiful departure from her work with Lala Lala. The album’s lead single is called “holyholyholy” and is accompanied by the video below.
Most of this album was recorded while West was in residency at the LungA Land program in Seyðisfjörður Iceland. She enlisted the help of Baths and YATTA for two the songs.
