The Toronto duo Ducks Ltd., Tom McGreevy and Evan Lewis, recently released the lead single, “Hollowed Out“, from their forthcoming album, Harm’s Way, which is due out on Carpark in February.
For this album the work with local producer Dave Vettraino (Dehd, Deeper, Lala Lala) who enlisted an all-star collection of local musicians including Ratboys’ Julia Steiner and Marcus Nuccio (who also plays drums on”Hollowed Out”), Dehd’s Jason Balla, and Moontype’s Margaret McCarthy, and Finom’s Macie Stewart.
On these collaborations McGreevy had this to say, “We realized that so many of our favorite bands who are making guitar music right now are from Chicago”.
