Adam London creates atmospheric ambient music under the name Bedroom. Last week he released his latest collection of creations called Invisible Choirs. This is Bedroom’s second album on 2018, following up The Inner Pattern which was released back in February.

The album features contributions from Matt Kidd (aka Slow Meadow), Brady Kendall (aka Alaskan Tapes) and Chantal Ouellette.

Grey Shore Avenue has released a video for the second single, “Anxiety”, from their forthcoming video album called "The Elbo Room Sessions". The trio plans to release six more video in the coming weeks so stay tuned to their youtube channel. 

Grey Shore Avenue is fronted by Bryan Kuhn (guitar and lead vocals) with Antonio Camacho (drums, vocals) and Stevie Konstatos (bass, lead guitar, mixing/mastering).

Ganser released a new single and video today for a new track called “Pastel”. The single will be officially released this Friday, Oct. 19, via No Trend Record, but can be purchased digitally today.

You can catch Ganser at Lincoln Hall on October 31st as part of their Halloween Bomb Bash. They will also be performing at Beat Kitchen on Nov. 17th & 18th (both show are sold out!) with Daughters.

Brendan Kelly and the Wandering Birds are preparing to release a new album, Keep Walkin’ Pal, on October 26th digitally and November 23rd physically via Red Scare Industries. Kelly (The Lawrence Arms, The Falcon) recently released the LP first single, “Shitty Margarita”, ode to the very worst the drink has to offer.

Poison Boys released a new 7” EP earlier this month called “Poppin’ Eyes and Flashing Feet” via White Zoo Records. This is the throwback rock sounds of Matt Dudzik (vocals, guitar), Adam Sheets (Bass), Steve Elfinger (Guitar), and Matt Chaney (Drums). This is the band’s third 7” in as many years.

The boys released a music video for the EP’s lead track track “Bustin’ Out” over the summer which was directed by Michael Gasher of Gasher Film Works.

Fuzz Rock band Blake released their debut album, Return Me To The Sea, last week. This is the work of Peter Norman, Spencer Quigley, Danny Burke, and Nick Cvijovic.

Jamila Woods has released an amazing video for her new single “Giovanni” which was released today, October 16th, via Jagjaguwar in partnership with Closed Sessions.

This is Jamila’s first release since her acclaimed 2017 debut album HEAVN.

Ashen Swan (aka Nathan Kwon) is preparing to release a new album called Circadian on October 25th. As with Kwon’s other project’s (A Veiled Frame In Amber, Crawl Across The Sky) this is meditative ambient music. You can currently preorder the album and stream three of the tracks below.

Cold Beaches is the gritty rock n’ roll project of Sophia Nadia. This Virginia native, now based in Chicago, has recruited a group of talented musicians including Chilly Tracheae, Brandon Salazar, and Eric Novak since finding her way to our city.

Earlier this month she released her latest EP, “Stay Here”. This is the band’s second EP of 2018, following April’s “Stay Hungry”.

Kweku Collins has released a video for his latest single “Sisko and Kasidy” which features a contribution from Ajani Jones. The video was directed by Jon Levert and features Collins and Jones on a Sci-fi adventure.

Elk Walking released a new single last week called “Walk Away" b/w “Molly”. This is the band’s second single of 2018 coming on the heels of “Ride The Tide” which dropped back in June.

The Safes have released a tribute single to Juliana Hatfield via American Laundromat Records. The single’s A-side is “Universal Heartbeat” with a B-side of “I See You”. Below is the video for “Universal Heartbeat”. The record was engirened by Steve Albini and the source material is a perfect match for the mixture of Pop and Rock of The Safes.
