This is the R&B and soul singer-songwriter’s third single released in 2023, and the latest is series of single since the release of her 2019 debut EP, "With Love, Lexi".
Joy Buzzers recently released their catchy debut single, "Bottoms Up".

Louise Post recently released her latest solo album, Sleepwalker. The album’s latest single, "What About", is accompanied by the video below.
Post spent her formative musical years her in Chicago as a founding member of Alt Rock group Veruca Salt.

Chicago Native Alicia Walter is returning home to celebrate the release of her latest album, Right Noise, at Sleeping Village on July 16th.
The album’s lead single, "Between The Hurt", was released back in May and is accompanied by the video below.
Walter will be joined by a backing band filled with local musicians and she will have Sima Cunningham (of Finom) and Carlile as openers.

OTNES has released a new single called "BLU3" and has plans to release a full-length album via Antifragile next year.
When asked about "BLU3" OTNES had this to say; “With ‘BLU3,’ I wanted to combine the otherworldly nature of electropop textures with the grit of a live band. In my past project Emily Blue I was a big proponent of glitch sound design, and with this song being an homage and official goodbye to that project, I wanted to incorporate what sounds like a digital world breaking down and rebuilding itself into something new. This song is about committing to my inner journey, sorting through my traumas, and finding myself in the music.
The first lyric is ‘I’m ready to dive in,’ signaling that OTNES is here to explore and grow not only as an artist, but a person. I hope that others can feel the bravery and empowerment in this song, and realize that no matter how untraditional our paths might be, we will always land back at the self.’

Blue’s musician Nigel Mack released his fourth album, Back in Style, last month. This is the first album from Mack since 2011’s, Devil’s Secret, and it finds Mack demonstrating why he is Chicago’s "triple blues threat".
