LA transplants Girlpool just released the title track to their forthcoming Wichita Recordings LP Before The World Was Big, due out June 2. With tongue-twisting interlaced vocals recalling nostalgic lyrics compounded by their strolling bass-guitar lines, the song becomes almost immediately familiar. The duo will take part in a Record Store Day performance at Repo Records this Saturday on a bill that also includes Sad Actor, Cheerbleeders, Easy Creatures, Gondola, Tough Shits, and Witch Fist.
