Collages is the work of Jesse Bustamante, and through this moniker Jesse creates an array of dream pop and lush psych pop sound. His debut album was released late last month and is called Maya.

Collages will be performing at Empty Bottle on Nov. 18th.

Martha Berner & The Significant Others

The sophomore from the talented singer/songwriter Martha Berner is coming on December 13th. The album is six years in the making and will be called Fool’s Fanatsy. This is Martha’s first album with her new band The Significant Others.The album was recorded at Chicago’s Stranded On A Planet and produced by The Significant Others guitarist Scott Fritz. The band will be touring this winter, and below is our first sample of Fool’s Fantasy, "Cry".

New Sunstroke EP from Their Ocean out 11.11.11

This month, November 11th to be exact, Their Ocean will release their new ep Sunstoke. The band is currently working on their full-length debut album Skies Light Up which will be released in the Spring on 2012. Their Ocean is Keith Kreuser: lead vocals, drums, guitars, Jason Hunt: guitars, keyboards and Jacob Croegaert: bass, vocals, guitars and keys.

Kirby Kaiser @ Hard Rock

At just 19 it hard to imagine how Kirby Kaiser could have risen any faster into the center of the Chicago music scene. She released her self-titled debut EP back in September, and the buzz has been building ever since. Kirby builds on the sound of the ’60’s girl-group pop sound, but clearly has a vision all of her own.

Kirby Kaiser will be performing at the VitaminWater Winterescape Party 2011 on Dec 2nd at Hard Rock Hotel’s Fender Ballroom with Smith Westerns.
