Stephen Paul Smoker have released a video for their track "Green City" from the recently released album Ripe Fruit.

Chandeliers are preparing to release their new album Founding Fathers through Captcha Records on June 19th. The group recently released the video for the album first single, Le Corsage.

Chandeliers will be celebrating the released on June 25th at Empty Bottle with a free show.

Clever One (aka Mark Sandoval) has released his new mixtape "Life’s A Blur". He opens the mix by announcing the this is destiny, and then he proceeds to make you really feel. Through the mixtape he effortlessly combines a smooth flow with a sharp and bitting wit. Clever One is not scared to be himself and has launched summer in the right direction.

Keeping with the electro-pop vibe, Perfect Kiss has released their first studio-recorded single. The track was recorded at Rax Track and was produced by James "Jimmy Con" Wineman.

It’s rare that find a duo as perfectly matched as Elysia Hang-Fu and Alena Ratner when they come together as Shuteye. Elysia is a talented singer/songwriter and Alena is a veteran producer and accomplished DJ. Together they make something all their own, but well grounded in electro-pop. Recently the duo was one of five winners in the Monster Diesel Vektr Headphones contest.

Vagrant Records announced today that they had signed the local four-piece band California Wives. The band is currently working on their debut full-length album, but have released the first track from it, a song called "Marianne". The new album will be the follow-up to their 2010 self-released debut ep, Affair.

The trio known as Moritat is fairly new to the Chicago scene, but from what I have heard from their new album Clill Blanzin they are going to make a big impact. The will be released on June 26th and you can catch Venus Laurel, Konstantin Jace and Corey McCafferty at The Whistler on June 25th.
