Mindloss released their debut EP, Virulent Hymns, last week. This is heavy death metal of Stephen Szczasny (Drums, Vocals), Anthony Crisanti (Vocals), Felix Peralta-Muñoz (Bass), and Christian Guajardo (Guitars, Vocals).
This is guttural, aggressive, but oddly melodic, and a great first offering from this newly formed group.
Elijah Berlow recently released a few new tracks via Soundcloud. Our favorite is the upbeat folk song “Out To Dry”. This is the first new music we have seen from Below since his 2016’s debut EP, “Under The Weather”.
Good Fuck has released a video for the latest single, “Physics”, from their forthcoming self-titled debut album. This is the third single released from this new project from Jenny Pulse and Tim Kinsella.
You can help the duo celebrate the album’s release on February 22nd at Open House Contemporary with Windbreaker, Mayor Daley, Whitney Johnson / Ben Lamar Gay Duo, Water Ritual, and DJ MTZ.
Dan Rico has released the first single, “SHI”, from his forthcoming album Ba$ement Pop. This is Dan’s first release since his 2018 LP, Dreamy.
You can catch Dan Rico on March 25th at Empty Bottle with Vamos.

You can help the band celebrate the release of the album on March 15th at Virgin Hotels (203 N. Wabash Ave).
Bertling Noise Laboratories are the bedroom recordings of Nick Bertling. This week he released a new EP called “…into thin air”, and it really caught us by surprise. This is well-crafted, melodic, indie rock with elements of Ben Folds and Ben Kweller, and probably some other guys named Ben.
Last month Nick posted that he had a total of 12 fans on Spotify and that number should be dramatically higher based on this EP alone.
Lorelei Dreaming is the dark synth-pop project of Lorelei of St. Griselda. When performing she is also joined by AJ Gapsevic (Echo Haus) and Reuben Chew (Rachel’s Surrender). She is releasing a new single called “Of Stars” on February 19th, but the single edit of the track can be streamed below now.
Lorelei Dreaming will be embarking on a Midwest tour in May, but do not currently have any local shows scheduled.

We are proud to be able to premiere the video for the latest single, “Just Enough”, from Liska Steele. The video was produced by Low-Moon and it takes you on a fun-filled video game journey.
We recently had the opportunity to ask Liska about the video and here is what she had to say.
"I wanted the video to reflect my own journey of self acceptance. I was really set on having a portrayal of my "Ideal Self" in the video and I think Low Moon did an amazing job of putting a light-hearted twist on that. My hope is that this message of self-discovery is accessible to everyone who watches the video."
