Tara Terra “ithaca”

Tara Terra is indie rock group fronted by genre shifting multi-instrumentalist Emily Blue. Along with Evan Opitz (Guitar and Synth), Nick Soria (Bass and Vocals), Mariel Fechik (Vocals), and Joey Buttlar (Drums), Tara Terra is preparing to release their latest EP, "Couch Surfer, Lover”, on April 7th. This is the first new music we have received from the band since 2017’s LP, Where’s Your Light?.

The band recently released the EP’s first single, “ithaca”, which can be streamed below.

Rotten Mouth is preparing to release their debut full-length album, The Moonman, this Friday, April 5th. The album’s first single is called ”Steady Hand” and can be streamed below.

Joybird @ Tonic Room (4/17)

Joybird is the graceful American of Jess McIntosh, and she released her latest album, Landing, last month. For this album she is joined by Bil Harris (percussion, drums), Aaron Smith (bass, banjo, guitar, vocals), Emily Nott (guitar, vocals), Sara Leginsky (banjo, vocals), Anna S. Jacobson (trumpet, French horn), Cass Pautler (clarinet), Dan Andree (fiddle), and Steve Doyle (dobro, electric guitar).

Drama Moth recently dropped an amazing new single called “Jaded”. The track blends pop, R&B, and with powerful lyrics to create a track that is not getting the attention it deserves.

Engine Summer “Indiana”

Four Letter Words “Pinch Point”

Four Letter Words is the improvised jazz trio of three Chicago transplants Jake Wark (tenor saxophone); Matt Piet (piano); and Bill Harris (drums). The is preparing to release their third album, “Pinch Point”, on April 13th via Harris’ label Amalgam.

CAVE Psychic Summer Reissue

CAVE has released the first single, “Made in Malaysia”, from the forthcoming reissue of 2009’s, Psychic Summer, which is due out April 26th via Drag City. This will mark the first time the album will be widely released and available through Drag City, and will celebrate the album’s 10 year anniversary.

Cave is currently touring Spain and will spend the Spring in Spain, Portugal, Netherland, France, and Belgium.
