Single Premiere: SM6 “Too Young”

We are proud to be able to premiere the latest single, “Too Young”, from the brother and sister group SM6. This is the Pop group’s first single since the release of their 2018 album, On Our Way.

“Too Young” is a joyful piano pop anthem about the strength, knowledge, and spirit of youth, and their ability to stand up and make a difference despite being told they are too young.

You can catch SM6 at Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park on May 18th as part of the Chicago Drum Show. They will also be touring this summer as part of the Boys of Summer tour.

Taylor Phelan @ Subt (5/15)

Taylor Phelan spent the early years of his musical journey in Chicago as the Frontman of The Canes. He has been back in his hometown in Texas for a couple of years and released two solo EP’s in that time.

Taylor is returning to Chicago next week for a show at Subterranean on May 15th with Shi La Rosa and LAIK.

Supergroup Mush dropped a new album, Thank You, We’re Mush, today, May 8th, without warning via Skeletal Lightning. This is the Power Pop of members of Pet Symmetry, Dowsing, Retirement Party, What Gives, and Droughts.

The album is available on all streaming platforms today and will be released on vinyl on July 26th.

Little Church “Last Night”

Little Church has released the first single, “Last Night”, from their forthcoming EP, “It’s Not You”, which is due out on May 31st via Diversion Records.

This is the artful Pop of Chelsea Foss-Ralston (Vocals / Guitar), Christian Whiting (Bass / Synth / Guitar), Khori Wilson (Drums), and Sean McConnell (Synth).

You can Little Church on June 2nd at Schubas with Malci and Jordanna (who just happens to be featured on the closing track of the EP).

Mutts Launch Anniversary Tour with “Your Love”

Mutts are are kicking of their 10 year anniversary tour this weekend, May 10th, in S. Louis. You can find all of their upcoming tour dates here.

In advance of the tour launching they released a greatest hits album, called “Hey, We Are All Mutts”, that kicks off with a brand new single called “Your Love”.
