TOPAZ has released the first single, "Sirens", from his forthcoming album Help Yourself To My Garden. This is the addictive Dream Pop of Zack Johnson, and this is the first new music from him since his 2019’s debut album High Society.
Otto Green
Otto Rollo has teamed up with Oakland’s Green Like Copper to create a duo called Otto Green and a new album called Smiling Dog. This is a blend of downtempo Hip Hop, ambient, and chillwave and a really calming presences for those days that are anything but calm.
Sunshine Boys “Work and Love”
Sunshine Boys recently released their sophomore album, Work and Love. This is the work of three local indie veterans Freda Love Smith (Blake Babies, Antenna, Mysteries of Life) on drums, Jacqueline Schimmel (Big Hello, Justin Roberts) on bass, and Dag Juhlin (Poi Dog Pondering, The Slugs) on guitar.
The album’s latest single is called "Summertime Kids" and is incredibly catchy, jangly indie pop.
Replicant “Regression”
Darkwave trio Replicant has released the first two singles, "Annihilation" and "Regression", in what they are calling their Pandemic Series. All proceeds from this series will be given to support local venues and their staff who have supported the band and so many other bands over the years.
This is the work of Garrett Vernon (Vocals/Guitar/Synth), Justin DeLay (Synth/Producer), and Jordan DeLay (Bass).
Daisychain
Daisychain has released their self-titled debut EP. This album is well over a year in the making and great representation of the gritty, barroom rock the quartet has perfect over that time. The album closes with fantastic single, "The Wrong Thing", the group released back in February 2019.

Kali Masi “Square Pegs”
Kali Masi recently released a collection of demos, covers, voice memos, and bedroom recordings called "Square Pegs". This is the first new release from the group since their acclaimed 2017 album Wind Instrument.
This is the Math Rock of John Garrison (Drums), Sam Porter (Guitar and Vocals), Wes Moore (Guitar and Vocals), and Anthony Elliot (Bass and Vocals).
Jordan Reyes “Closer”
Jordan Reyes of American Dreams & American Damage recently release a new collection of early Synth recordings called "Closer". Reyes says that these recordings are the first time he felt he was getting "Closer" to harnessing something truly special from wherever it is that great music flows from.
Bridey “Pop Diary”
Bridey has released her latest EP called "Pop Diary". This comes just four months after the release of her debut album, Honey.
This is indie pop with a guitar-driven rock backbone. Our favorite track is "Strange Pains", but feel it should be accompanied by a trigger warning during these times. "Oh God, I think I got the flu again/Strange Pains are running through my lungs again".
Paddlefish “Small Song”
Paddlefish has released the first single, "Small Song", from their forthcoming debut studio album Flyer. The band members come from around the Midwest, but are based here in Chicago while attending school. The album is about that transition of leaving home for the first time and finding yourself alone in a big city.
This is the work of Owen Misterovich (guitar, vocals, and songwriter), Bayden Fraley (bass), Missy Farrell (drums), and Zaida Wade (guitar/keyboard).
Holiday Majick “Urgency”
Holiday Majick is the new project from Pamela Maurer (aka Baby Money). She recently released the lead single, "Urgency" from her forthcoming album Welcome Freshman. This is LoFi, dreamy, bedroom Pop with a heavy ’60’s girl group influence.
The Deals “Brainwash”
The Deals have released their first single, "Brainwash", along with a cover of the Fountains of Wayne song "Mexican Wine".
