Legendary Sonic Youth founding member Thurston Moore will be coming to Underground Arts this Saturday, July 22 with his band, Thurston Moore Group. They’ll be in Philly in support of their new LP Rock n Roll Consciousness (Caroline), which was recorded, once again, with My Bloody Valentine bassist Debbie Googe and Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley. The band will be joined by hometown noisemakers Taiwan Housing Project, who also recently released their latest full-length album, Veblen Death Mask, via Kill Rock Star.
