Emily Franke has released he second single, "Pretty Pissed", in as many months. For this new track she enlisted the help of trumpeter Sammy Haig to help highlight what she is calling her response to the heightened emotions found in songs like "Driver’s License by Olivia Rodrigo.
This follow-up the track she released back in June, "Supernova".
Thompson Springs have released a new single called "Too Close For Comfort".
This is the work of Jacob Bicknase (drums, piano), David Thrift (Bass, backing vocals), Jeff Sullivan (electric guitar), Alex Charland (Saxophone), and Matt Smith (acoustic guitar, vocals)
You can catch Thompson Springs at Schubas on August 20th with Soul Honey Records, and Julian Daniell.
Trickshooter Social Club has released the first single, "Honey, I Believe", from their forthcoming EP, "Monte Carlo", which is due out via The Animal Farm Music later this year.
This is the group led by guitarist Larry Liss and frontman Steve Simoncic and this is the first new music from them since 2019’s album, American Experiment.
Pop Punk group Cleveland Avenue has released the latest single, "If I Needed Help, I Wouldn’t Call (911)", from their forthcoming EP, "The Things Better Left Unsaid", which is due out on July 30th.
The single is accompanied by the Alex Zarek-directed video below.

Christian JaLon has released intro, "Spoken Words of MINE, #1”, to her forthcoming visual album "MINE".
The next single to be represented visually as part of "MINE" will be the Gospel anthem "Ego-Tripping". JaLon blends R&B, Gospel, and Jazz with her deeply rooted faith to create music that is positive and necessary.
Aunt Kelly recently released a new single called "Master of Mind". This is the group’s second single since the release of their 2019 debut album, Ready When You Are.

Girl K has released the title track from their forthcoming EP "Girl K Is For The People" which is due out Sept. 10th via Take This To Heart Records.

Genre-breaking quintet Manwolves recently released their latest album, Sleeping In. The group consisting of Jamie McNear (vocals), Eli Cohen (guitar), Henry Wolf(bass), Julian Freeman (drums), and Ari Garfin (keys), blends Rock with elements of Jazz and Hip Hop.
The lead single from this album is called "Canned Soup" and is accompanied by the Andrés Guerrero animated video below.

Heavy Manners have released a new remix of their classic 1982 single "Flamin’ First". The group released this remix to coincide with their inclusion in two new Ska-focused books, In Defense of Ska by Aaron Carnes and Skaboom! An American Ska & Reggae Oral History by Marc Wasserman.
This is the work of Kate Fagan (vocalist), Frankie Hill (vox/sax/keyboard), Shel Lustig (drummer), Mitch Kohlhagen (guitarist), Kevin Smith (multi-instrumentalist and singer), and Joe Thomas (bassist). The original recording of "Flamin’ First" included the group’s founding bass player Jimi Robinson who passed away in 2018.
