Wild Earp at Fitzgerald’s (8.29)

Alt Country musician Wild Earp released his latest album, Dyin’ for Easy Livin, last month. The album’s lead single, "I Wanna Go", is also it’s closing track and is the perfect summer getaway song.

For this album Earp enlisted a group of musicians he is calling The Free for Alls which include Alan “Double Barrel” Maniacek (drums), Kiley “Sweet Sassy Molassey” Moore (vocals), Jed “Valentine” Taylor (guitar, vocals), “Gorgeous” George Hurden (guitar, mandolin), Sean “Ponyboy” Hughes (piano), Charlie “Ace” Malave (bass), and Robert “Big League Chew” Daniels (pedal steel).

You can catch Wild Earp for a free 1pm show at Fitzgerald’s on August 29th.

Hunter Diamond “Entrance Velocity”

Saxophonist Hunter Diamond has released the opening track, "Entrance Velocity", to his solo debut album, Reflective Nostalgia, which is due out on August 6th via his new label Curio Records.

On this recording Diamond plays tenor sax exclusively while being recorded live at Atlantic Center for the Arts in northern Florida. The recording not only captures his experimental and improvised performance but the living environment around him.

Shed

Stoner Doom metal group Shed has released the first two singles, "Pus of Man" and "The Shadow of Totality" from their forthcoming self-titled debut album which is due out on August 19th.

What sets Shed apart of the Metal group is the addition of heavy metal brass section consisting of trombone, bass trombone, and tenor/baritone saxophones.

Shed is made up of Calvin Armstrong (6-string electric cello, vocals), Drew Baxter (Bass trombone), Chris Misch-Bloxdorf (Tenor trombone), Patrick Stevens (Bass guitar), Steve Wasilczuk (Tenor/Baritone saxophones), and Kelson Zbichorski (Drums).

Ands “Wallet & Waltz”

Ands has released the lead single, "Wallet & Waltz", from their forthcoming debut EP “Trust” which is due out August 6th.

The single is accompanied by a video directed by Jess Price (of Doomflower & Campdogzz).

This is the work of Dustin Currier (Vocals + Guitar), Kortland Chase (Vocals + Guitar), William Covert (Drums), and Sam Edgin (Bass Guitar).

Brett Naucke “The Glass Shifting”

Brett Naucke has released the first single, "The Glass Shifting", from his forthcoming album, Mirror Ensemble, which is due out October 1st via American Dreams.

For this album Naucke teamed up with like-minded and extremely talented musician Natalie Chami (aka TALSounds) on Voice, Synthesizer, Organ, and Piano and Whitney Johnson (aka Matchess) on Viola, Violin and Organ.

Swim Ignorant Fire “Initiation”

Swim Ignorant Fire has released the lead single, "Initiation", from his forthcoming album, Bufo Alvarious, which is due out on August 6th.

This is the adventurous work of Sound Design Stephen Holliger and this new project finds him blending Field Recordings, samples, electric bass, a BOSS SP-202 to create a sound that is both tribal and world influenced and otherworldly.
