As we announced back in April, Mucca Pazza has a new album coming out next week called Safety Fifth through Electric Cowbell Records.
The band recently released a new video for the track "Boss Taurus", and will be celebrating the release of the new album on June 12th with a sold out show at The Hideout.

The Hudson Branch has released a cover of Wilco’s famous track "Sky Blue Sky". The cover is a fresh take of the track adding in elements of soul to the lazy summer track.

The Hawthorne Effect recently announced that their full-length debut album will be called Awakefulsleep and will be released on July 10th through Red Mist Records. The band is lead by the local music powerhouse John Jauch who wrote all of the track on this album. The album tracked, arranged, mixed, and mastered at Stranded On A Planet recording studio.
Chicago-born and LA-based, Open Mike Eagle is gearing up to release and new LP next month called 4nml Hsptl via Fake Four. The album will feature contributions from Serengeti, Danny Brown, and others.
The track with Serengeti is called "Universe Man". 4nml Hsptl comes out on June 26th.
