Aviation and the War is the work of singer/songwriter Matt Buenger. Along with Joe Christopoulos he released an album this past fall called Haste. The album is gritty, soulful, and filled with compelling tales.

Sam Vicari has announced his latest LP, Giving Up, will be released via Sip City Records on April 7th. The first single is called "All and Everyday".

Gramps The Vamp is releasing their fantastic self-titled debut EP on vinyl. The "doom funk" filled EP was released digitally back in September and has been receiving well due praise ever since.

Jimmy Whispers is a solo psych-pop crooner who falls somewhere in between Owen Ashworth and Ariel Pink. Whispers is releasing his opus Summer In Pain on March 24th via  the local label Moniker Records. Below is a vacation themed teaser video for the album and its first single "Summer In Pain".

Emblems announced this week that they have signed with the local label Monoblack. The indie pop trio released their most recent album, The Dark Season, back in November.

War Elephant is the orchestral noise rock duo composed of Eric Ides Georgevich and David Bearsnake Rahofy. Their sludge filled new album is called Wooly Orizon and it is filled abrasive cosmic explosions of sound.

The husband and wife duo of Austin and Hannah Massey (aka Flocks and the Lookout) have new album being released this week called Hills and Valleys. The alt-folk recently recorded a live session at Greenville College in which they performed their new track "Wake Up".

Pearls Mahone is a throwback in nearly every sense of the word. He new album, Echoes from the Prairie, is a collection of Country & Western ballads and soulful barn burners.

Pearls Mahone will be celebrating the release of her new album at The Hideout on Feb 6th.

Dream Version released their debut full-length album, Beginners, this week. The 4-piece indie pop band perfectly blends surf, garage, punk, and pure pop. It’s so early in the new year, but this release could be one of the finest when all is said and done.
