NixonLove is the work of the talented Liz-E Gavillet. She is a part of Good Bear Records and over the last month she has released several singles, "No Money", "Within Your Cage", and "Nawrk". She also released two solid covers and a video for her track "Landslide".

Earlier this month we announced that Graham Czach will be releasing his new EP, Star by Star, on May 2nd. He recently released the first single from the EP, "Out of the Dark".

Travis Lee Wiggins and Essex Chanel have released a new album, Some Strange Fantasy, their first since 2009’s Love Is Proximity. Kick back on a Saturday afternoon at home as the warm spring sun peeks in through half-drawn shades. Flavors are highlighted with a little Mary Jane. Loppa Albon is the lo-fi dream-pop persona of Alex Lappin. He released a new cassette last week called Plumblossums via Hellhole Supermarket Records.

Rapids are teaming with the local label Artistic Integrity to have their debut EP, Traction, released on vinyl on May 5th.

Weatherman is the trio of Jason Toth, Annie Higgins, and Joshua Dumas. They are releasing their next single, "Night Games/Dopamine" via La Société Expéditionnaire on May 12th. This is the second of three single that will be combined into an EP this Fall.

"Night Games" finds Annie Higgins shining on both vocals and piano, while "Dopamine" is churning electronic instrumental track.

Signal-to-Noise is the moniker of the thought dream-pop musician Michael Downing. He released his amazingly lush and introspective debut album I Won’t Let the World Become a Prison last week.

Downing will be performing a few of the tracks for the album acoustically tonight, April 13th, at Kafein Coffee in Evanston.

Dream-folk group Sedgewick is releasing their debut EP "Gardens" and celebrating with a performance at Throne Room on April 25th with Jack And The Bear and Ben Joseph.

Former New York Mayor is the acoustic folk pop of Jimmy Chrzan and Mike Bremmer. The duo has released two EP’s in 2015 with the most recent, EP 2, coming earlier this month.

Back in February we shared the new single from Sam Vicari, "All and Everyday". The album, Giving Up, was released last week via Sip City and has been on tour all month.

Sam is back in town in tonight, April 13th, for a show at Beat Kitchen with Upset, Colleen Green, and Impulsive Hearts.

Freddy Jones Band have officially released the video for their single "Those Diamonds". The track will appear on their forthcoming album which is scheduled for a June release.
