Local Motive is releasing their debut EP, Superconductors, this week. The EP was recorded at Rax Trax Recording and mastered at Gravity Studios, and is filled soulful funk and rock. Check out the EP’s first single, "Shallow Water", below.

Rooftop Session recently released their session with Crow Moses (formerly Musikanto). The performance was recorded at Navy Pier Terrace on rainy day. The band released their latest album, “Horse Heaven Hills”, back in September 2014.

Jennifer Hall has released the her track "Make It Out Alive". The video was directed by Alex Sheyn and incredibly haunting and colorful. The track comes from Hall’s recently release self-titled EP.

Hall is throwing a release party for the video on Aug 22nd at 1917 N Elston Ave. She is also performing at Beat Kitchen on August 29th.

The Aches released their latest EP, Your Broken Hand, back in April. The EP is an addictive blend of shoegaze and folk rock. Colin and Christiana Flanigan blend their vocals perfectly to add a complexity to the band’s storytelling.

Touch and Go Records announced this week that they will be reissuing Urge Overkill’s 1992 EP Stull which featured the famous cover "Girl, You’ll Be A Woman Soon". The release will include a limited edition White Vinyl and be released on October 30th.
