ChooChoo, a five-piece fuzz-pop band, has released a new single called "More Matcha Haterade?". This is a follow-up to their 2016 ep, Over Winter.
American Football
American Football released the first single, "I’ve Been So Lost For So Long", from their forthcoming self-titled sophomore album. The album, the first in seventeen years, will be released on October 21st via Polyvinyl. This is one of the seminal Chicago band’s and it’s members, Steve Holmes (guitar), Mike Kinsella (vocals, guitar), Nate Kinsella (bass), and Steve Lamos (drums, trumpet), have spawned many other project over the last nearly two decades.
American Football will celebrate the album’s release at The Vic on October 29th.
Johnny Lightning & The Thunder
Johnny Lightning & The Thunder released their latest EP, Fur Rush, last month. The play a gritty and nostalgic brand of surf-rock that is perfect for these waning days of summer.
Radar Eyes
Radar Eyes has released the first single, "Community", from their forthcoming LP, Radiant Remains. The album is set to be released on Sept 2nd via Chicago’s Under Roads Records.

Mick Jenkins released the first single, "Spread Love" from his forthcoming album, The Healing Compenent, yesterday.
He will be touring this fall with STL emcee Smino and you can catch them at Thalia Hall on October 20th.
Lando Chill
Lando Chill (aka Lance Alan) released his debut LP, For Mark, Your Son, last week via Mello Music Group. The talented emcee was born and raised in Chicago, but is now based in Tucson. Below is the video for the album’s lead single, "Save Me".
Bubbles Brown
Bubbles Brown is preparing to release their debut full-length album, MT Gilead, on August 29th. The album was recorded live at Farm Fresh Studios in Bloomington, IN to maintain the busking feel the duo’s music.

Dowsing and Ratboys
Dowsing and Ratboys have announced a new split 7" EP which is due out via Topshelf Records on Sept. 9th. The two bands are good friends and even share members between them. Below is a track from the EP by Dowsing called "Hold".
