Pivot Gang dropped a new single over night called “Studio ground Rules”. This track features Saba, Frsh Waters and MfnMelo flowing over a beat by Daoud and daedaePIVOT.
This is the crew’s third single of 2019 and I believe everyone in the city is hoping this is building to a full-length album.
Wild Belle released their latest album, Everybody One of a Kind, today, March 22nd. This is Pop and Reggae sound of brother and sister duo of Natalie and Elliot Bergman. They were born here and got their start here, but are now LA-Based.
The latest single from the LP is called “Have You Both” and is accompanied by an animated video that Natalie created herself.
Wild Belle will be returning home for a show at Metro on April 21st, and on July 31st at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island opening for Beck, Spoon, and Cage the Elephant.
SuperKnova recently release a new single called ”Glitter and Blood”. This is the first new music from her since 2017’s Splendor Dysphoria. The single has a huge beat and an empowering message.

Math Rockers Origami Button released their debut EP, “Button Season” back in January. This is the work of Carter Jones (vocals), Brandon Amaloo (guitar), Rene Gutierrez (guitar), Taylor Ford (bass), and Matt Kerner (drums)

Dendrons recently released a new single, “Halfway”, from their forthcoming full-length debut. This is the bands first release since becoming a 4-piece band.
The group is currently in the middle of Spring tour, but have not announced any local dates at this time.

Owltree has released a new Lezter produced album called “Lost City Cult”. The prolific emcee has released a slew of albums over the last six months, but kicked it all off last November with an introspective self-titled album.
The mysterious Owltree suffers from Depersonalization/Derealization Disorder, and this leaves him feeling disconnected from reality. We hope through this music that he is finding a way to not just connect for brief moments to reality, but connect to understanding and open listeners.
Thee Arthur Layne has released a new EP called “HVYDRT Vol. 5”. This is the heavy Psych Rock of Jason Walters (vocals & harp), Adam Scott (guitars & chants), Sap Defiler (bass & chants), and Angel Ledezma (drums).
Pink Avalanche has announced that the follow-up to their 2014 sophomore LP, The Luminous Heart of Nowhere, will be released on April 18th via Past/Futures Records & File 13 Records. The album will be called III, and will feature 12 blistering new tracks. This will be the band’s first release as a trio, former bassist Pete Coke left for Puerto Rico last year.
Pink Avalanche is the work of Che Arthur (formerly of Atombombpocketknife), drummer Adam Reach (The Poison Arrows), and guitarist Kortland Chase.
