"Unseelie" is the debut single for the retro Psych group Black Magick Marching Band. Little else is known about the group, but the sound is a little vintage Bowie and a little vintage Pink Floyd.

We are excited to see what may be coming next from this new group.

Emcee/Producer/Sound Engineer SolarFive has released a new album called "Death Gotta Be Easy". The project features contributions from MfnMelo of Pivot Gang, TZ Duhh, IceFace, and Super Dakario.

The album’s lead single is called "Justice Pt. 2" and is accompanied by the video below.

Post-Punk group Theyrgy have released the first single, "Walk Away", from their debut EP "Exit Strategies" via which will be released via their own Dead Sage label on August 21st. On the surface the song focuses on a fictional, sociopathic cannibalistic killer, but it is designed as commentary on our fascination with true crime and the eerie ability to just walk away.

This is the work of John Doyle (I Decline,13 Flowers), John E. Bomher (Yakuza, Iklatus), Michael Fabiano, and Tony Hooper.

Ric Wilson and Terrance Martin have released visuals for their latest single "Don’t Kill The Wave".

The track is taken from their recently release album, They Call Me Disco, and the video was directed by A Solo Vision.

Eli Winter has released the first single, "Maroon", from his forthcoming album, Unbecoming, which is due out on August 21st via American Dreams.

On this track he is accompanied by Sam Wagster (of fellow American Dreams band Mute Duo) on pedal steel guitar, Tyler Damon (of Circuit Des Yeux) on drums, and Cameron Knowler on nylon string guitar. The song is accompanied by the animated video below.

This is the Psych Rock group that was formed from the ashes of the now defunct band NE-HI by Mikey Wells, James Weir, and Alex Otake.

Multi-Instrumentalist Sen Morimoto has released the first single, "Woof", from his forthcoming self-titled album which is due out on October 23rd via Sooper Records. The album will feature contributions from Kaina, Lala Lala, Qari, NNAMDÏ, Kara Jackson, AAAMYYY, and Joseph Chilliams.

North Side rapper Manny 10x has released the first single, "Warp Speed" from his forthcoming debut mixtape, Revolutionary!, which is due out later this summer via Rosebud Allday.

This mixtape is the result Manny spending a year in prison, for defending himself, where he primarily read and wrote and rekindled his passion for music. Shortly after being released he was put in touch with Jsun Rose of Rosebud Allday, and quickly composed his debut mixtape.

SituationChicago is a project from Quiet Pterodactyl is a designed to help support the "independent music venues of Chicago so artists always have stages on which to perform". They released is fantastic complilation consisting of a mixture of new and live recording from local artists both big and small today, July 31st.

The complilation features contributions from the like of Marcus Atom, Rich Jones, Justice Hill, Ok Go, Jeff Tweedy, White Mystery, and so many more.

Bellhead has released their debut EP "Unicorn Bones". This is the Darkwave duo consisting of Karen Righeimer and Ivan Russia (of Mr. Russia).

The duo released their first two singles "Fire Control" and "Runaway" in 2019, but delve into whole new depths for this album.

Max Subar has released a self-titled EP today, July 31st, via bandcamp. For the month of August he will be donating all earnings from bandcamp sales to Sista Afya, a local nonprofit organization with the mission of sustaining the mental wellness of Black women.

This is Max’s third album and was recorded last year with the help of Jason Gordon Ashworth (electric, fretless and upright bass), Chet Zenor (electric guitar), Sam Subar (drums and percussion), Jacob Slocum (sax and flutes), Ben Phillips (trumpet), and others.
