Gramps The Vamp “Rendezvous”

Gramps The Vamp have released the lead single, "Rendezvous", from their forthcoming LP, Keeper of the Void, which is set to be released on October 23rd. This is the first new music from the unique Jazz group since their 2016 album, The Cave of 10,000 Eyes. The new single is an homage to the classic spy movie themes of ’50’s and ’60’s, and comes complete with a Dominick Gray directed video.

FEARSORE “Wetworks”

FEARSORE has released a brief trailer for their forthcoming album Wetworks which will be released on October 30th via Dead Sage. This is primarily the work of Wiley Wells who founded the Industrial band over twenty years ago.

On this album Wells is joined by John E. Bomher Jr. (Theyrgy, Yakuza), Jim Bresnahan (Cianide, Contagion) on "Dissent 2020" and Joe Starita on "Incubation."

Tawny Newsome & Bethany Thomas “White Balloon”

Long time friends and collaborators Tawny Newsome & Bethany Thomas have been singing together for 15 years and releasing the first album, Material Flats, on Newsome’s new imprint Fine Alpinist Records on October 9th. The duo recently shared the album’s opening rocker "White Balloon" along with the video below.

On this project the enlisted the help of local musician Nate Urbansky on ​(drums), Patrick Martin (​guitar, bass, vocals) and Packy Lundholm (keys, effects, banjo, and more). They also tapped Ted Leo to add vocals on the album’s closing track "Carry Something".

Growing Concerns Poetry Collective “Shout Across Mountains”

Growing Concerns Poetry Collective has released a powerful, Talia Koylass directed, video for the lead single, "Shout Across Mountains", from their forthcoming album, Big Dark Bright Futures, which is due out October 16th.

This is the work of Mykele Deville, McKenzie Chinn, and Jeffrey Michael Austin, and this new album is the follow-up to their 2017 debut album WE HERE: Thank You For Noticing.

Emily Kuhn “Roses”

Trumpeter Emily Kuhn has released the opening track and first single, "Roses", from her forthcoming debut album Sky Stories, which will be released on October 30th via Bace Records.

This album is Kuhn’s tribute to Chicago, it’s Jazz scene, it’s landscapes, and it’s atmosphere. On the album she performs with two different lineups of musicians. The first, and the one featured on "Roses" is called Helios and features Kuhn, Max Bessesen, Mercedes Inez Martinez, Evan Levine, Gustavo Cortiñas, and more. The second line-up is the combination of Kuhn, Joe Suihkonen, Katie Ernst, and Nate Friedman.

Alex Banin “About April”

Alex Banin released her latest single, "About April", back in June with a beautifully filmed, Michael Del Rosario directed, video. This was her second single of 2020, third overall, and a catchy, melodic showcase for her powerful, smoky vocals.

Banin recently a new video performing a previously unreleased song called "Drive Thru" accompanied by just a piano courtesy of ‘Kechi.

Dogs At Large “Break You Out”

Dogs At Large have released the first single, "Break You Out", from their forthcoming LP Jeopardy which will be released October 9th. This is the follow-up to their 2019 album, Delusions of Paradise, which received an acoustic EP version back in June.

This is the work of Sam Pirruccello (vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, Rhodes piano), Adam Gilmour (bass, vocals), Jamie Yanda (electric guitar), and Chris Kolodziej (drums, percussion).

Crown Vic Royal “Prayer For Summer”
