Cold Gawd has released the latest single, "Get Some Rest", from their forthcoming album, The Creative Pursuits of Me and You, which is due out on October 30th.
This is the Emogaze of Matt Wainwright who was formerly in a California based duo called Kid Teeth. He recently relocated to Chicago and has gone solo as Cold Gawd.
Alex Reindl’s Old Joy has released the second single, "90’s Baby", from their forthcoming album "Trash Your Life". Alex wrote this song back in 2014, and there is even an intimate video of him performing the demo solo back in 2016.
On the flush out album version he is joined by Colin Kaniff (Lead Guitar), O.P. (Harmony vocals), Anthony Santoro (Bass), and Max Petot (Drums).
The b-side of the single is a worker’s lament called "I Got A Job".
Noisy trio Lifeguard are preparing to release their debut album, Dive, tomorrow, October 2nd. They recently dropping the album’s lead single, "Fishnet", and this comes on the heels of their debut EP, "In Silence", which was released earlier this year.
Lifeguard is the work of Isaac Lowenstein (Drums, Percussion), Kai Slater (Guitar, Vocals), and Asher Case (Bass, Vocals).
Harvey Waters has released the second single, "Problem Of Method", from their forthcoming album, Air Sits Heavy, which is due out on October 1st via Hibernation Circle.

Heavy Psych group REZN is set to release their latest album, Chaotic Divine, on October 1st. This is the groups first studio album since 2018’s Calm Black Water. REZN recently released a live video of them performing the album’s latest single, "Inner Achitecture", at Ohmstead.

Mán Cub has released his latest single, "All That To Say". This is the first new music from the Psych Pop singer/songwriter Richard Juarez since his 2019 debut EP "Self Control".
Pop Punk group Wilmette has released their latest EP, a self-titled effort via Mutant League Records.
The band has released three singles from the EP, and latest is called "Rancho Cucamonga". Last month released a video for the EP’s second single, "Alchemy", which was directed by Alex Zarek.
Atmospheric metal band Varaha has released an incredible video for the song "Irreparable" from their 2019 album A Passage For Lost Years. The video was filmed at many of venues around the city that have been empty for months and may stay empty for much longer.
The video was released to bring awareness to the #SaveOurStages effort by the National Independent Venue Association.
Ballroom Boxer recently released the second single, "Joyride", from their forthcoming EP. This follow’s the single "Lost in America" which was released at the start of September.
This is the first new music from Ballroom Boxer since the release of their 2018 EP "A Little Wild".
Matt Muse has released single called "Shotgun" that features fellow local emcee Femdot. This is a remix of a track from Muse’s 2019 album Love & Nappyness that is flushed out by a new verse from Femdot.
The track is accompanied by a video co-directed by Muse, Imaginat, Sensei Shutter and Oluwaseyi Adeleke the features the two emcees and a variety of cars. When asked Muse had this to say about the video; "My vision for the video was to create a mostly performance based visual that highlighted my life-long love for cars. I’ve always wanted to have a music video with a bunch of nice cars in it, not to look flashy, but because I adore the craftsmanship and detail of luxury vehicles".
Serena Isioma recently released a new single called "Blue Sky". The single features production from Saint Lewis and is a beautiful blend of Psych Pop and Hip Hop.
