I’m gonna cut right to the chase: The reason you should go see Far-Out Fangtooth at The Station this Saturday night, aside from the smashing freak-garage delirium that is their music, is that it’s their last show in Philly before they head to SXSW (again). To even miss their sludgy, wicked phantasmic fury while it’s in your own backyard is nothing short of a sin, really. And buying their upcoming 7-inch for Hozac Records won’t even make up for it (although, you know, totally buy it ‘coz if you don’t, that’s a double sin). Plus, they’re sharing the bill with Moon Women, who, if you checked our post from yesterday, just released "We Weren’t Wrong," the fired up, heavily melodic snotty lead single from their upcoming 4-song 12-inch, and the always-rousing power trio, Psychic Teens, who smack your face with shameless, unapologetic post-apocalyptic no-wave goth (but what else do expect from one of the Best of The Deli Philly Poll top performers?)
