Holy awesome mid-week bill Batman! You mean Jukebox the Ghost is playing one of the friendliest, funkiest warehouse/occasional rave/industrial living space/music venue this side of the equator The Ox tonight? And they are bringing Via Audio AND Drink Up Buttercup along for the show!?! Well, show isn’t even the right word. They already billed it as an extravaganza so I won’t be satisfied without overweight dancers and those creepy dudes who (used to) sell nitrous in the Electric Factory parking lot. Jukebox the Ghost is celebrating the release of their fine second LP Everything Under the Sun and personally, as you probably picked up, I couldn’t be happier about their choice to celebrate it in such a sweet environment. After making their television network debut on The Late Show with David Letterman last week, these pop confectionaries are going to fill this warehouse with rainbows (double/triple) and inescapable energy that exudes from each song.
