The National Rifle Open for Flogging Molly at the E Factory July 30

It’s been the summer of awesomeness for The National Rifle. They kicked it off with a marathon bout of touring that had seen the band dropping hints about new material. And that’s going to culminate on August 20th when they preview what they’ve been working on, which will appear on TNR’s first full length album Do You Want This?, at Kung Fu Necktie. But the band will be playing what may very well they’re biggest show to date when they open for Flogging Molly this evening at the Electric Factory. Though the show was originally scheduled to be at the Festival Pier and had to be moved at the last minute, it will certainly not take away from the energy that they’ll be exuding on stage this evening. Electric Factory, 421 N. 7th St., 5:30pm, $38 (plus fees), All Ages – Bill McThrill
