Background Character have released their highly anticipated third album, Gorgeous. This is the follow-up to 2021’s I Can See The Future and is filled with the addictive blend of Metal, Emo, Jazz, and Pop the group has become known for around the city. The album’s latest single, “Thot Philgrim”, was released last week and illustrates the band’s ability to thrash.
Our favorite single from this project is called “Old Folk’s Home” and is accompanied by the video below. This track could be a jazz standard few long ago and perfectly demonstrate the range of this band and this album.
