After dazzling us with their debut singles “Giantess” and “Freyja,” Tutlie will finally be dropping their first EP, Hush Up. The release is a companion to their upcoming full-length album, and will be available this evening in conjunction with the group’s show at Johnny Brenda’s opening for LA pop trio Superhumanoids. The band will be giving out handmade download cards to those in attendance. Also on the lineup will be Moon Bounce, a.k.a. Corey Regensburg, a local native who impressed multiple major music media outlets and blogs with his beautifully orchestrated debut EP Darn Your Best Frock in 2011. It was followed up by last year’s EP Wheelhouse, and tonight will be a good opportunity to hear what the inventive producer has been working on lately. Being able to find this much talent under one roof on a Monday night is just one of the many reasons why Philly’s music scene rules – so take advantage of it! Johnny Brenda’s, 1201 N.
