This could be the first and last time you read about NYC band Thirdstory on the pages of The Deli. It’s not like we have anything against the talented soul-folk band, rather, it’s that too many people are beginning to jam with their catchy, rugged sound. The latest of their newer legion of fans appears to be none other than critically-acclaimed emcee Pusha T. On the highlight of the trio’s recently released Searching EP, "G Train," they pair up with Pusha to deliver a hard-hitting track that embodies the gritty, resilent nature of New York and New Yorkers. Though T is from Virginia, he feels right at home on a song about the underside of The Big Apple. Thirdstory are on a world tour right now, but you can catch them back at home on 12/18 at Baby’s All Right. — Henry Solotaroff-Webber
