Have you ever had one of those nights where you accidentally end up spending dusk to dawn with another person? The Majorleans "Sunrise Mary" is a warm, driving tune that could easily be the soundtrack for one of those cathartic nights. In the video, the NYC-based folk rock band crafts a boy/girl narrative, but – set against the backdrop of late-night streets (and an early morning beach rendezvous) – the picture feels instantly familiar and immediately relatable. The video pairs well with the song, which itself showcases the band’s prowess for creating strong narratives, while feeling delicate without being fragile. Watch the premiere of the "Sunrise Mary" music video below, and catch the Majorleans Saturday September 17th at the Bonnie Festival in Astoria, Queens and also playing an acoustic set at The Wren on Bowery on Sunday September 18th. Keep your eyes peeled for their new record, Carouser’s End, coming out later this fall. – Olivia Sisinni
