It first appears a bit grimy and ragged, unfiltered garage-rock scenario with the makings of an intense inferno that generates its initial signs of life down deep with guttural vocals and stick to your bones retro-fitted guitar licks that have a straight ahead yet fuzzed edge, comforting in its lowlight minimalist aggressive nature. The Love Club a combustible musical machine spearheaded by David Mitchell Esparza, a.k.a. (((taco))), appropriately hits The Fire tonight. It’s a controlled slow-building burner, which continually gathers strength until it reaches an apex exploding with fervor. They’ll be joined by the grungy duo of Joe Musciano and Sean Sacks, a.k.a. Great Red Spots, weaving fuzzed out high-octane guitar lines with barricade bashing drums. The bill also includes indie-rocking quartet Dead Tenors.
