The Lawsuits have been tantalizing us with their countrified folk rock with just a tinge of blues for a while now. So when I first learned that they were heading into Sigma Sound Studios to work on a new EP, I was ready for more of their music filled with good vibes. The end result is Hot Love, and songs like Baby, Don’t Go (which the band filmed their first official music video for, and you can view it below). Tonight they’ll be celebrating the release of their album at Milkboy Philly, and they’ll be joined by the Brothers Murphy of Penrose who just finished their first recording session with Bill Moriarty.
