The Boot & Saddle sure is trying to get on my good side, and I think it’s working. Tonight catch retro pop rockers The Interest Group channel their 60’s-era spirit animals. Smooth female vocals and classic lyrics give these vaguely psychedelic songs a warm and fuzzy twist, and the band’s two wonderful August singles (aptly released on 7”) will undoubtedly transport you to another time and place. Headlining the night will be the Boston-bred falsetto aficionado, Luke Temple, who also fronts NYC’s Here We Go Magic. Rolling off of the release of his new 80’s-pop-inspired album Good Mood Fool, the show is sure to put you in a good mood. Get it? Sorry, I like telling bad jokes too. Boot & Saddle, 1131 S.
