The Mothership beckons this evening, where The Goodbye Party’s ability to connect a pensive catharsis, simultaneously crafting catchy rumbling rockers comes to an intersection. Tonight, the pairing of Michael Cantor (ex-Ambulars) and Sam Cook-Parrott (Radiator Hospital) may offer a glimpse into a new bag of material, while also pulling from our January Record of the Month – Silver Blues. The quick-jabbing, melodic New York punk trio Arm Candy, whose new self-titled album was recorded by Kyle Gilbride (Swearin’), and the fuzz –adorned Ohio pop-rock quartet Didi complete a lineup that’ll knock that weekend rust off. The Mothership, (Please contact one of the acts or venue for more info.) 8pm, $5-$7, All Ages – Michael Colavita
