During the summer the finest parks in Philly come alive with the sound of music. And tonight is a rare occasion, because South Philly is going to get treated to one of the best of the West. Whether it’s been during one of Clark Park’s many festivals, farmers markets on 40trh Street, or other fine occasions like Bastille Day, West Philadelphia Orchestra have been no strangers to filling the summertime air with their joyous tunes. And just like their monthly gigs at Tritone, WPO are sure to have Cianfrani Park moving to their Balkan dance beats and Eastern European Folk. And their sure to have Patrick Hughes, Elliot Levin, and an assortment of other major Philly music players in tow when their 14 strong take it to the grass.
