Philly’s Buddie exhibit grit and vulnerability, filtered through fuzz. The quartet taps into an enthusiastic pop accessibility, without shying away from exposing the dark corners of one’s mind. So, it comes as no surprise that the band was influenced by the likes of Weezer and Nirvana; however, the origins of the band’s name is a bit more unexpected. When we hear “Bundy,” we picture Ed O’Neill’s bad posture, hand in the pants, and wise cracks on a couch – not the eyes of a demented serial killer.
