At the beginning of May, Robert and Scott Cerny — who play music as The Cerny Brothers — released their newest LP Looking For The Good Land, a disc full of heartland rock that will strike the heartstrings of any Springsteen, Tom Petty, or Neil Young fan. Their music video for "American Whore" even pays a bit of tribute to Springsteen’s "Born In The U.S.A."; the critical lyrics and driving refrain, along with the American flag backdrop, help pay into the likeness. The Cerny Brothers will take the stage at 3rd & Linsley on May 26th for a special Memorial Day weekend performance; it’s part of a series of dates in support of Looking For The Good Land.
