2001 was a huge breakout year for The Bigger Lovers, whose debut album How I Learned to Stop Worrying landed on several key Top 15 Lists at the end of the year. But four years and two albums later the band packed it in and decided to go about their separate ways. But its members never strayed far from the music path, and even rocked out with other bands such as BC Camplight, Audible, Missing Palmer West, and The Pernice Brothers. But in honor of the 10 year anniversary release of their debut album and the release of a maxi-single Little Giant that features four lost songs and a single, the group is ready to return for a special reunion at Johnny Brenda’s tonight. And whether this shows leads to a full fledged reunion is uncertain, it’s sure to be a fresh blast from the past that offers loads of nostalgia. Johnny Brenda’s, 1201 N. Frankford Ave., 9pm, $12, 21+ – Bill McThrill
