Sweet Lights Opening for Polica at KFN March 24

Shai Halperin has already accomplished a lot as a musician and the former leader of The Capitol Years. Halperin and his band recorded a live session for BBC Radio, played the Glastonbury Festival, received high levels of praise from Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, and toured with the likes of the Pixies and Daniel Johnston (whom they also backed on tours). And The Capitol Years that featured members of Nightlands and The War on Drugs at certain points started out as Halperin playing every instrument on the first two albums. The artist went back to those roots for his latest project Sweet Lights, and it’s been all him for the “Endless Town” single and the self-titled debut that’s scheduled for release in April. He’ll also be going solo tonight for the SOLD OUT Polica show at Kung Fu Necktie. Some more tickets may be made available at the door though, so it’s recommended that you look into it pronto!
