Come check out Phonographic Arts’ new space at The Level Room tonight where they’ll be hosting lo-fi rockers Spacin’ and Boogiewitch! Birds of Maya’s Jason Killinger started Spacin’ as a home recording experiment last January when he posted a two-track demo on the project’s Bandcamp page. The catchy lo-fi Velvet Underground-esque track “While You Come Around” along with the upbeat danceable fuzz jam “Ego-go” really grabbed our attention. More recently, Killinger released a one minute and thirty-three second long track titled “Clips from Deep Thuds,” which we can only hope is a small sampling of some new tracks for an upcoming album. Don’t space on Spacin’! The Level Room, 2102 Market St., 9pm, $6, 21+ – Dan Brightcliffe
