Safari Room have been active since 2016, but they’ve spent the past year in a fervor of recording frenzy, putting out their single "Antelope" in June and then their EP Actual Feelings in July. The versatile indie pop group stems from the musical and lyrical brain of Alec Koukol, who employs the help of friends and fellow Nashville musicians Simon Knudtson, Emma Lambiase, and Nathan Gamble to help bring the songs to life. Safari Room have continued to track songs in the studio throughout the summer and fall, meaning that new music could be on the way. They’ll play what they’ve been working on at The East Room on 11.02 with Luke Krutzke & the High Tides and Willix also on the bill. Take a listen to Actual Feelings below. – Will Sisskind
