Revisit Slow Animal at The Barbary Oct. 19

Alex Karaba’s guitar tears like a buzzsaw through buttery vibrant pop hooks, while Dan Colanduno pummels the skins with determined ferocity. That’s what you’ll find on Slow Animal‘s latest EP The Other Side, an album definitely worth revisiting. The bonus is that they’re even better live. If you missed the duo’s performance last night at Golden Tea House or just simply can’t get enough of them, then you’ll have your chance this evening when they open on another solid all-ages bill at The Barbary with Twin Peaks, Tweens, and Public Access TV, which is presented by WKDU. The Barbary, 951 Frankford Ave., 6:45pm, $10, All Ages – Alexis V.
