Here’s a bit of drone and noise for you called "Slowly Dark" from one of our favorite avant-garde guitarists Nick Millevoi. The track originally appeared on his 2012 album In White Sky (Flenser Records), and is being reissued as part of a split single with Dutch improv sax/drum duo Dead Neanderthals, who Millevoi will be touring with this fall. He also has two shows in Philly on August 8 at The Random Tea House as a duo with Jesse Kudler and August 10 at Ortlieb’s for his Ricart/Millevoi Quartet record release of Haitian Rail (Gaffer Records). They will most likely be his last local ones before hitting the road in Europe for nearly a month during September/October.
