Tonight at Milkboy the oddball grooves of Prowler take the stage. With a combination of fragmented lyrics, gritty backend, and an electronic pulse weaved into their songs, Prowler creates an energetic and sweaty dance party. They combine tasty layers of guitars, quirky vocals, and percussion to create their unique blend of boogie-rock. “Satan don’t take no junk mail, ya heard?” Headlining the show, hailing from Nashville, is the electronic dance outfit, Wild Cub. Also on the bill is homegrown Nashville indie-folk singer/songwriter Natalie Press. Milkboy Philly, 1100 Chestnut St., 8pm, $12, 21+ – Michael Colavita
