Last Wednesday night, The Homophones promised: “Balloons. Beer specials. Fake flowers. Real blood. New songs. And a Yes cover.” They delivered and then some. The band also brought along new member and female vocalist Kate Fabrizio. You can check out my photos from their set HERE. Keep a look out for Jason Ferraro’s yet-to-be-named new project (well, it was originally called NOWHERE until he discovered that a cheesy alt rock band from Switzerland was already using it). They’ll be performing live on July 16 at the M Room with Gang and Sgt. Sass. Ferraro also has plans to take a trip to LA in the near future to record an EP for the new side project with Mad Decent’s Bosco Delrey. – David Turcotte
